When Cvent transitioned to iCIMS as their hiring platform, careers.cvent.com needed a full redesign from the ground up — not just a new skin, but a complete rethink of how Cvent tells its employer story to the world.
The Challenge
Cvent powers the meetings, events, and hospitality industry for over 5,500 employees worldwide. The challenge was translating that scale, culture, and purpose into a careers experience that would attract the right people — candidates who understood what Cvent does and were genuinely excited to be part of it. The previous site gave little context about the company, leading to a mismatch between candidate expectations and reality.
My Role
I led the end-to-end design of the new careers site — designing all pages, creating custom graphics and visual assets, directing the content strategy, and establishing the design system within iCIMS. This included the homepage, Life at Cvent, Benefits, Campus, and Locations pages, as well as the job listing experience.
Design Approach
The site needed to feel warm, human, and energetic — a reflection of Cvent’s people-first culture. I anchored the visual language in Cvent’s brand blues and greens, used organic shapes to soften the tech-company aesthetic, and led with real employee photography to convey authenticity. Content was structured to answer the questions every serious candidate has: What does this company actually do? What is it like to work here? What are the growth opportunities?
Key Pages
The homepage leads with culture and scale, surfacing employee stories and a clear path to job search. Life at Cvent goes deep on values and day-to-day experience. Benefits is scannable and honest. Campus speaks directly to early-career candidates. Locations gives global context to a company spanning multiple continents.
Outcome
The redesigned site gives prospective employees a comprehensive understanding of what Cvent does, who they are, and why it matters — resulting in better-informed candidates and stronger pipeline quality. The site is live at careers.cvent.com and serves as Cvent’s primary employer brand touchpoint globally.
